Jeff Torrance

Jeff is a partner at Harpoon and plays a pivotal role in managing strategic initiates as well as managing day to day operations. He is responsible for all financial operations, including planning, budgeting, and modeling in addition to overseeing accounting, tax and compliance functions. Jeff collaborates with the investment team to assess and structure deals, and also supports the firm’s fundraising efforts.

Jeff enjoys connecting with investors and listening to their perspectives. He also enjoys the opportunity to work hands-on with portfolio companies when possible.

Prior to joining Harpoon, Jeff peacefully owned and operated JW Torrance & Associates where he worked closely with PE fund managers and startups before being yanked into the fascinating world of venture at Harpoon’s inception.

Jeff calls Seattle home but enjoys frequent visits to CA.
