Jake Windle

Jake is a San Diego based Investor at Harpoon where he helps source, diligence, and support portfolio companies. Jake's super power is aligning portfolio companies with Department of Defense technology requirements, helping to build bridges over the dreaded Valley of Death.

Prior to Harpoon, Jake was a partner at Gothams, an interdisciplinary advisory firm, where he spearheaded the deployment of millions of COVID-19 tests working with federal, state and local authorities to respond to some of the most critically impacted areas of the country.  

Master Chief Windle retired from the US Navy in 2020, after leading and operating at every level of the Special Reconnaissance Teams in Naval Special Warfare. Jake's Navy career culminated in a Senior Advisor role to the Commander of Naval Special Warfare where he led the manning, training, equipping and worldwide deployment of a 400-person Special Intelligence Unit. 

Jake spends his off time with his wife, three kids and Cosmo, a bernedoodle.
