Recursive is building self-improving AI systems to automate knowledge discovery. The founding team brings together leading researchers and repeat entrepreneurs from the field's most important labs. Co-founders have established and led AI research organizations at Salesforce and Uber, and held senior roles at OpenAI, DeepMind, Google Brain, and Meta. Collectively they have founded multiple companies, including two unicorns and several acquired by top technology firms. The broader team of 25-plus includes pioneers in open-ended algorithms, quality-diversity methods, self-improving coding agents, automated red teaming, and foundational world models.
